Phuket Plea for Blood for Well-Known Phuket Hotelier

A PLEA is being made tonight for A Negative blood donors to give so that an urgent heart operation can be performed on a well-known Phuket hotelier.

Louis Bronner, general manager of The Boathouse Phuket, needs blood for a major operation. He is now in hospital.

Donors in Bangkok can contact the National Blood Center, Henri Dunant Road, opposite Chulalongkorn Hospital while Phuket donors are advised to contact Mr Bronner's nurse Ann on 081 5357860.

The iconic Boathouse at Kata beach was known as Mom Tri's Boathouse but became The Boathouse Phuket and Oasis earlier this year when purchased by the company behind the upmarket Trisara brand.

It is blood group: A negative (need 10 bags (300 c.c. per bag).

Thank you all for the thoughts, assistance and help for our long time friend Louis. I saw him tonight in the hospital and Louis will have a very serious operation tomorrow morning. So please have your thoughts and prayers with him.

Friday 17:00: The surgeon said the operation has gone well and Louis has come through it as good as can be expected. He is still under narcosis and we'll know more when he'll wake up tomorrow.
