No matter what, the outcome for him is guaranteed. Posted by JingJing on September 4, 2011 12:33 Editor Comment: I inserted a word to keep you out of the lynch mob, JingJing. Let's wait for justice to take its course, eh? Posting a video of someone who supposedly looks like Aldhouse buying something (it doesn't show what he bought), doesn't prove that Aldhouse didn't commit the crime. The time limit for the decision expired on 30th August so there's no way he can now legally be extradited. Posted by Peter Tudders on September 4, 2011 16:19 Editor Comment: it's customary for decisions to be made within two months, but there's no time limit. The likelihood is that the Home Secretary was preoccupied with the London riots. As a friend of Dashawn it's a good move, however the reality is very different. If indeed the report is correct and that Ms. May has approved the extradition, the next step is the Court of Appeal. Considering the gravity of the charge, coupled with human rights issues, even if the Court of Appeal uphold the decision is it most likely they will allow an appeal to the House of Lords. If they approve it, it's then onto the European Court of Human Rights. It's a long road to travel and I can only hope that justice is done and he does stand trial in Thailand. Posted by Graham on September 4, 2011 18:26 Editor Comment: Our belief is that an appeal to the High Court is as high as it can go. Once there was another level of appeal to the Privy Council, but that disappeared decades ago. Spot on Chris T the EU will quash it even if the court of appeal dosen't he's not being sent back. Posted by Scunner on September 4, 2011 23:19 I seriously pray that you all all wrong and he is sent back to pay for what he did to my nephew.... he isn't denying he stabbed him but thinks his human rights aren't being considered because living conditions of Thai prisons? Dashawn doesn't have any rights left thanks to Lee murdering him so I really don't know why Lee should have any say in his living conditions.... at least he is able to still draw a breath.... Dashawn can't. His family is following this closely and you can trust and believe all hell will break loose if this man isn't sent back to pay for what he did. Well if its in the Daily Mirror it must be true :P. Seriously though, he will probably appeal this all the way to the High Court and if that doesn't work there's the European Court of Human Rights. I'd be very surprised if he ever sets foot in a Thai prison.
