PHUKET: A charitable foundation rescuer was killed when an ambulance collided with a truck-trailer north of Phuket early today.
And the man that the ambulance was on its way to help - the victim of a shooting - also died as a result.
Patipon Sangkasin,18, was in the passenger's seat of the Khucheep Khuphai Phang Nga foundation ambulance when it was struck by the truck-trailer about 3am.
The fatal crash occurred near Thapput, on the road between Phuket and Phang Nga Town.
Naraong Pidprasan died as a result of the shooting.
Pairat Ponmas, driver of the ambulance is being treated in Thapput Hospital.

Sometimes you wonder if you can change anything, when your number is up. This story seems to show that there was nothing that could save the shooting victim.
But any way, Thapput, is not really on the road between Phuket and Phang Nga Town, but way beyond Phang Nga Town, on the way to Krabi Town.
