High speed trains are not serving the people of Indonesia. Just a good modern train system on wide track rail(!) with speed max 120 kmh will serve the transport connections between all cities.
High speed trains don't serve 'fast' unless you skip train stations on the route, and limit your citizens to travel. Same counts for Thailand. In Thailand the present train system is outdated, old and not maintained. There is no skilled train maintenance infra structure. Also Thailand can build a wide track rail track system and serve the thai people with good modern trains with a max speed of 120 kmh, ( already twice the speed as it is now), and serve all thai stations. People in a real hurry can fly.
