PHUKET: Mai-BS (Thailand) took over the management of what used to be known as the Dewa Karon Resort on Phuket, effective January 1,2013.
The resort is currently going through a re-branding and re-positioning period and will be known as Karon Sovereign All Suites Resort.
The high potential all suites resort offers 49 luxurious one and two bedroom suites and penthouses sized between 63 to 140 square meters with en-suite bathrooms, private terraces and private kitchenette.
Because of the high number of inquiries to be part of this exiting property, about 20 percent of those stunning deluxe suites will be offered to selected clients though a prime vacation club ownership concept catering to discerning guest who appreciate tranquillity, space, luxury, privacy and care for reasonable prices.
''The re-branding and re-positioning process will take about three months and the resort is poised to be a leading accommodation provider with trend-setting and exciting service concepts by latest November 2013,'' said Mr. Klaus R. Rauter, Managing Director of Mai-BS (Thailand).
''We are very happy to have found an enthusiastic straight-forward thinking partner in Mai-BS (Thailand) to manage and develop our resort even further for the benefit of all guests and stakeholders.
''We know from the early beginning that our resort offers an excellent product and we now realised it's the perfect time to re-position our property and work even harder on 'soft-ware' such as services and offerings to increase our market share in the very competitive luxury suite market at Phuket,'' added Stefan Hermansson, the authorised Director of Sovereign Company Limited, owners of Karon Sovereign Resort.
